The long awaited UEFA Euro Cup 2008 will take off from Saturday in Basel, Switzerland with a relatively low-key match between Switzerland and Czech Republic on its opening day.
On the same opening day another tough match will be played in Geneva between two competitive team, Portugal and Turkey.
After a gap of four years the biggest soccer tournament after FIFA World Cup, Euro 2008 will be on for three-week extravaganza.
It is co-hosted by Austria and Switzerland and 16 nations are going to take part in it.
